Michael Drost

Michael Drost is currently a professor of jazz at Grand Valley State University where he teaches jazz improvisation, jazz guitar, jazz bass and coaches the small jazz ensembles.  Michael divides his time performing and teaching music throughout West Michigan. Michael's versatilty as a multi-instrumentalist has allowed him to share the stage with an eclectic mix of musicians including Caissie Levy (Wicked, Ghost), Jonathan Brandmeier, Frank Stallone, John Slade, Paul Mabin, Michael Harvey, Mel Torme, Kenny Werner, Darmon Meader, and the touring cast of “Anything Goes”. 

Throughout his career Michael has performed with many notable Midwest musical groups and artists such as the Take Three Jazz Trio, Standing Room Only Orchestra, Generations, Groove Merchant, Groove Solution, Daniel James Band, NYCO, Three Cent Stomp and the Holland Symphony Orchestra. 

As a multi-instrumentalist/composer/music producer Michael has been a regular in many studios and jingle houses. His playing and compositions can be heard on television and radio ads, including spots for Amtrak, Discover Card, Comcast Sports, CNN Sports Retro, America's Test Kitchen, The Musky Hunter, Tim Hawkin's Comedy, The Huntin' Junky and many more. Much of Michael's most recent music production work has been composed and produced for a royalty free music library named Digital Juice. His music continues to receive national and international network placement. 

Michael graduated Cum Laude with a B.A. from Western Michigan University. During his formative years Drost studied with Craig Linenberger, Steve Zegree, Trent Kynaston, Fareed Haque, Tom Knific and Bob Palmieri. While at WMU, Michael received two Down Beat magazine awards: "Best Jazz Instrumentalist" and "Best Blues/Pop/Rock Group".

Jordan Finn

Jordan Finn is currently a full time musician throughout West Michigan and Chicago. Jordan attended McNally Smith College of Music in St. Paul, Minnesota, and studied with Kevin Daley and Bobby Stanton. He later transferred to Grace Bible College to study with Dr. Jason Werkema where he received his bachelor's degree in music. While working with Dr. Werkema, He focused on the area of jazz studies.

As a guitarist, Jordan has performed with some of Chicago and West Michigan's finest musicians including three time Grammy nominated trumpeter Victor Garcia (Aretha Franklin, The Isley Brothers, Santana), Mae Koen (Celine Dion, Aretha Franklin, Shania Twain, Mariah Carey), Tim Froncek (Ray Brown, Woody Herman, Dizzy Gillespie), YL Douglas (Barry Manilow), Anthony Bruno (R Kelly, The Four Tops,  The Temptations, Wynton Marsalis), Steve Grissett (Elton John, 98 Degrees, Richard Marx, Tony Bennett), Jake Vinsel (Jimmy Cobb), Clyde Davis (Aretha Franklin, Jeff Lorber), Pete Benson, Shawn Sommer, Steve Talaga, Keith Hall, Tom Stansell, Vince Leafers, Tom Lockwood, Andy Frisinger, Steve Harris, Joe Hettinga, Scott Pellegrom, and many others.

Although jazz has been his main focus, Jordan is also the lead guitarist for the 15 time award winning wedding band, David Rothstein Music, based in Chicago, IL. The David Rothstein Orchestra has had the wonderful pleasure to play for a number of celebrities including Donnie Wahlberg and Jenny McCarthy, Donny Osmond, Wayne Newton, Michael Douglas, George Bush, Bob Newhart, John Cusack and many more.

Jordan has also had the opportunity to play in many of West Michigan's and Chicago's top venues including Navy Pier, Willis (Sears) Tower, The Palmer House, Ritz-Carlton Hotel, Rookerry Room, Adler Planitareium, Lincoln Park Zoo, Hotel Arista, The Ivy Room, 19 East, Chicago Athletic Association, The B.O.B, The Amway, and many others. He was also given the oppotrunity to play for the LPGA Tour for the LPGA Classic in Grand Rapids, Michigan.
